Missional Communities
A Missional Community is a family of believers in GPC Waiyaki Way intentionally living out as followers of Christ and making followers of Christ in everyday life.
A Missional Community is centred on the Gospel, accountable to one another, and intentional in mission towards our unbelieving and unchurched friends, neighbours, colleagues in obedience to the Great Commission (Matt. 28:19-20).
Normally this family is a group of believers within the same radius. They meet weekly, are committed to one another and to holding out the gospel to their neighbours and friends.
The goal is to be deeply committed to the spiritual growth of one another, together being intentional in reaching out to others with the gospel, being a shoulder to lean on to one another and holding up one another to God in prayer constantly.
We use the acronym DEEP to capture the goals of the GPC Waiyaki Way Missional Communities.
